Before joining ACT for NIH in January 2025, Katy Turner held multiple positions as an operations and advocacy professional. She served as a Senior Operations Associate for campaigns in North Carolina, assisting with budget management, operations spending, and high-profile event planning with national political figures. Turner has also held positions with the Duke Office of Special Events and Ceremonies, the Human Sciences Research Council, and the Kenan Institute for Ethics where she honed her skills in system development and management.

Turner is a recent graduate of Duke University, where she earned a B.A. in International Comparative Studies and Linguistics.
