Patrick White


Before joining ACT for NIH, Pat White served as Associate Director for Legislative Policy and Analysis at NIH, working directly for NIH Director Francis S. Collins. White has been a leader in the NIH advocacy space for more than twenty years, serving as Vice President for Government Affairs at the Association of American Universities (AAU), Legislative Director for the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), Director of Public Affairs for the American Association of Immunologists (AAI). A graduate of Georgetown University (A.B., Philosophy and English) and George Mason University (M.A., International Transactions with a concentration in science policy), White also worked in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and on the Hill, where he was Chief of Staff to the late Rep. Robert W. Davis (R-MI).
